About Jasmine (they/she pronouns)

Jasmine Snipes is the founder and owner of The Liberation Strategist, embracing a values-driven approach that promotes empowerment, awareness, change, and care. With nearly three (3) decades of diverse lived professional experience, Jasmine has served across the United States in key roles such as Operations Lead for Black Lives Matter Metro Phoenix and Organizing Director for the Black Phoenix Organizing Collective. They engage with community-focused organizations to drive meaningful change, prioritizing inclusive and impactful leadership and liberation through workshops and dialogues that amplify the voices of impacted communities. Holding degrees from Communication and General Studies Estrella Mountain College and Community Advocacy and Social Policy from Arizona State University, Jasmine's work is rooted in authenticity and a commitment to dismantling oppressive systems while nurturing curiosity through diverse cultural experiences.

As a seasoned consultant, coach, trainer, and strategist, Jasmine collaborates with independent consultants and community organizations, contributing to volunteer efforts like POC scholarship boards and youth leadership camps. Their focus is on fostering impactful change and community care, facilitating workshops, managing projects, and supporting social justice initiatives. They serve as a guide and support, and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, centering on marginalized social identities, prioritizing liberation and care, dismantling harmful practices, and fostering accountability in community spaces.

In their personal time, Jasmine enjoys connecting with friends and family while practicing decolonization their mind and body. They stay curious about different communities and histories food, travel, art, and intentional connections.
